I came across Summersville Lake Retreat by accident while searching for a place to stop for the night.

There are games to keep you and the family busy as well as the kid’s playground. Everything is centrally located.

Just a short drive from the retreat, the Endless Wall Trail in the New River Gorge National Park is a hiker’s paradise. 📷

There are 122 stairs in the spiral staircase and it has the authentic US Lighthouse seal.

It was the lighthouse that made me book this location. One of the highlights of Summersville Lake Retreat is the Lighthouse Tour!

Your four legged furry friend will have a ball in the dog park. Summersville Lake Retreat thought of everything when they built this dog park.

This destination promises a mix of relaxation, adventure, and unforgettable memories.

And when the sky turns dark, look up – the stars here are nothing short of spectacular.
