Let’s Talk About RV Life
Curious about RV life? Follow me for real talk, road-tested tips, and the freedom roadmap you didn’t know you needed.
RV Life, Without the Guesswork
Let’s be honest. There are a lot of RV blogs out there.
Some have gorgeous campsite photos. Some review every gadget under the sun.
And some talk a big game, but behind the scenes? They’re still weekend warriors.
So why should you follow me?
If you’re even a little curious about RV life, whether you’re downsizing, transitioning, or just dreaming of trading your driveway for a view, here are three very real reasons I might be the person to walk alongside you on this journey.

I Keep It Real – No Filter Needed
Listen, I’ve been on the road full-time for over 8 years. I’ve experienced the highs of waking up in Grand Teton National Park and the lows of kitchen floods and forgotten towing mirrors.
I’ve navigated the heartbreak of loss and the joy of reconnecting with family across the country, all while figuring out how to live in a home on wheels.
I don’t sugarcoat things because you don’t need another filtered fantasy. You need the truth.
You need someone who will tell you when the fridge fails, the tanks get gross, or the campground Wi-Fi ruins your Zoom call.
I’m here to share:
- The mistakes we made in our first year (so you can skip them).
- The unexpected wins that made it all worth it.
- And the in-between moments that don’t make the highlight reel, but are just as important.
People follow Life in the RV not just for the Pinterest-worthy stuff, but because they trust that what I share is real.
If you’re tired of influencer fluff and want the honest version of RV life, stick around. You’ll feel seen, supported, and maybe even laugh a little (especially at our U-Haul packing fail).
I’ve Lived This Life…Not Just Blogged About It
A lot of people talk about RV life. But I’ve actually lived it.
In 2017, my husband Tim and I sold our house, downsized everything, and hit the road full-time. We’ve visited family across multiple states, chased good weather, and adapted our entire lifestyle to fit inside our RV (Ruby Sue, if you’re wondering, yes, she has a name).
But what makes my perspective different isn’t just the experience.
It’s the intention.
We didn’t choose this life just to travel.
We chose it because we lost my sister and brother-in-law too soon.
And realized that “someday” isn’t promised. That waiting to live the life we really wanted just didn’t make sense anymore.
So we went all in. And we’ve never looked back.
That grief gave me clarity.
That decision gave me purpose.
And now, I use that experience to help you figure out what full-time RV life could look like — your way.
Whether you’re just dipping your toes in or already mapping your route, I bring 8+ years of lived expertise to the table. And not just the “how-to”, but the why behind it.
I Make RV Life Doable
Let’s be real. RV life can feel like a lot:
- What kind of RV should you buy?
- How do you downsize your entire house?
- What does a travel budget even look like?
- How do you keep meals simple in a tiny kitchen?
Most people get overwhelmed and give up before they even begin.
That’s where I come in.
I take the big, scary questions and break them down into manageable steps:
- Want to plan your route? I’ve got a route planning mini-course.
- Need help with meals? I’ve built a recipe system + spreadsheet that’ll save you hours each week.
- Unsure how to get started at all? Grab my 3-Day “Align Your Life” Challenge and follow it day by day.
- Trying to decide if you’re even cut out for RV life? Take the quiz. I’ll show you how to simplify the decision.
I create systems, not just tips.
I give you tools, not just stories.
And I build community, not just content.
Everything I make — from blog posts to workshops to my “Adventure Simplified” membership — is built to support the kind of people I serve:
Aspiring and new full-time RVers who want simplicity, clarity, and a life that finally feels aligned.
