3 Reasons to Attend an RV Rally

Uncover the top reasons to attend an RV Rally, from connecting with the RV community to enjoying fun activities and service techs on hand.

RV Rallies and Why You Should Go

We just came back from attending our very first RV Rally and we had a blast.

It wasn’t just any rally though, it was the Jayco Jubilee.

It coincided with the Tampa RV SuperShow and we had a blast.

And while there are rallies that are just for certain brands of RVs, there are also RV rallies for RV clubs and RV models such as Super C’s.

FMCA, Escapees, Adventure Caravans, Fantasy RV tours, are just a few that come to mind.

Top Three Reasons to Attend an RV Rally

Additionally, there are more than just three reasons to attend rallies, these are the main reasons why I would go again.

Reason 1 – Meeting New Friends

I’m kind of the shy type so I wasn’t sure if we would be loners at the rally and sitting by ourselves most of the time.

However, meeting new people was so easy. And while we didn’t meet everyone there personally, we saw the same people and knew of them.

It was amazing how friendly everyone was. They would stop and chat about something or another at all times of the day.

Since it was only Jayco units that were allowed to attend this Jubilee, we all had something in common, lol.

We left the rally with so many new friends and that in itself is the reason I would go again.

Reason 2 – Activities Galore

There were activities planned daily from morning until night.

We had two days at the Tampa RV SuperShow. It wasn’t an all-day affair, but 4-5 hour days were long enough for us old folks.

They shuttled us to and from so there was no need to take our toad with us.

It’s always nice to see your RV on display at the RV show. (It wasn’t actually ours, but it was the 2024 version of the Jayco Seneca Prestige in our color.)

Besides the RV show, they had an 80’s night, Mardi Gras night, Trivia night, Bingo night, and a Field Day where we played games and won prizes.

Reason 3 – Service Techs on Hand

The nice thing about RV Rallies is there are usually service techs on hand to look at and possibly fix minor issues you might have with your RV.

Our service techs showed up on our last day and while they didn’t have parts with them, they were able to diagnose most issues.

We had a minor adjustment needed on our Shwintech slide and they were able to take care of that for us.

No need to take it to the dealership for that thankfully.

Where To Find An RV Rally

You can find RV rallies on your brand of the unit homepage, Facebook groups, Club pages, and more.

Reasons to Attend an RV Rally Conclusion

Seeing as this was our first, I’m sure there are many reasons to attend an RV Rally.

I know some have vendors selling products, Rally clothing for sale, new units to browse through, service techs that are able to fix more, and seminars to learn more about the RVs.

As we attend more in the upcoming years, I will update this post.
