Poplar Pizza originated in Buffalo, NY in 1982 with one location and expanded to two locations a few years later.
Wanting to get away from the extreme cold and snow, the owner decided to move to Kansas and open up a location in Howard, KS.
With a second location a few years later in Andover, KS, they both serve good old Buffalo pizza.
Wings, beer battered fish fry.
And specials of roast beef on kimmelweck rolls, and even sponge candy when the weather is right for making it.
