RV campsites aren’t the only thing available for overnight stays.
Choose from pull-through or back-in RV sites right next to the Little River, tent sites, Glamping tents, Airstream trailers, and tiny homes.
Forget roughing it in a tent! Little Arrow’s luxury glamping tents redefine outdoor accommodations.
The Glamping tents have electricity, a deck, a mini kitchen, a TV, cozy beds, and a dining table.
And it’s not like you have to put your coat on to use the bathroom. They have an amazing bathroom, complete with hot water, and a flushing toilet.
And when the temperature fluctuates, they got you covered with air conditioners, heaters, and heated blankets for those cold nights.
The RV sites have 50-amp electricity and easy access to the picturesque Little River.
Several of the 76 campsites are on the actual riverbanks with plenty of room so that you can wind down outside after a day of exciting activities like fishing or kayaking.
The pull-through sites come complete with an outdoor kitchen, pavilion, and more.

Bring your furry companion along for the ride and create unforgettable memories together.
But be sure to be Bear Aware! Bears are very real here in the Smoky Mountains.
And while we did not see any personally, I have read stories in Facebook groups where bears have walked right their campsites.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REAL BEAR!
Even the dumpsters have bear locks on them.
Activities
The activity list is endless. Choose from movie night, Bingo, Family crafts, trivia night, guided hikes, and so much more.
There is a community firepit complete with Adirondack chairs and firewood.
We did not find this out until our last night there and by then it was too late since we were up early the following morning to head out.
Live music and Sunday morning Church services are also on the list.
Check out the monthly calendar while you are there.
Amenities: Showers, Pools, and More
A zero-entry spa pool is perfect for swimming enthusiasts of all levels.
Take a cold plunge after coming out of the hot tub!
After a refreshing dip, unwind and fuel up at our around-the-clock coffee lounge, where you can savor a variety of premium blends and caffeine-infused beverages to kickstart your day.
Relax with a game of checkers or tic tac toe.
For outdoor enthusiasts, our property offers easy access to the nearby river.
You can partake in aquatic adventures such as kayaking or fishing.
There is also an impressive clubhouse and pavilion that can accommodate a wide range of events.
The showers and restrooms are very rustic and beautiful.
And while I did not get the opportunity to use them, I will definitely the next time we visit.
Signs Everywhere
I really loved all the signs throughout the park.
Some were by the pool.
While others were in the restrooms.
Campground Store
Forget something? No worries! The campground store has everything you need and more.
Need marshmallows for s’mores? Firewood? Swimming gear? Bear spray? They got you covered!
Internet and Cell Service
For some reason, I did not check the internet besides on my computer.
AT&T was running at 21.96.
We did have 2 bars of Verizon cell service but hardly any Verizon internet.
You have to remember that you are in the middle of the Smoky Mountains.
Service
The staff at Little Arrow RV Resort is exceptional and goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and comfortable during their stay.
The resort’s management always takes note of any complaints and resolves them quickly.
Where to Eat
The local food scene is one of the highlights of the area.
From the Diamond Jack Wine Bar to the Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro, there’s something for everyone.
We had to go into town for some RV parts and ate at the Blackhorse Pub and Brewery.
It was very good. We had a Patty Melt with onion rings, a Prime Rib sandwich with a baked potato, and cheesecake for dessert.
The range of culinary options may surprise you, considering the small-town vibe of Townsend.
But one thing is for sure: your taste buds will be in for a treat. So come hungry and explore the food scene on your next camping trip.
Where We Went
We had planned on Cades Cove the day we arrived. However, due to a slight problem with the RV, plans changed and we had to go to Townsend.
Instead, we were going to go to Cades Cove on Wednesday before we went to the Clingman’s Dome.
Well…I didn’t realize that Cades Cove is closed to vehicle traffic on Wednesdays and only bicycles are allowed.
So we never got to go to Cades Cove.
We did go to Clingman’s Dome and the view is spectacular. I highly recommend going if you are ever in Tennessee.
