During Columbus Day weekend, they host a huge arts and crafts festival that brings in people from 100’s of miles.

If you don’t get there early (like 8 am) you will be stuck in traffic. 

It is my opinion the best state park in our area. (Yes, even over Niagara Falls.)

The easiest way to reach this gem, known as the “Grand Canyon of the East,” is through the Castile entrance or the Mt. Morris entrance. 

You do have to pay a fee to get in the state park.
