The resort had recently been acquired by new owners and there have been quite a few changes.
They have added sites, ponds, a tennis court, cornhole boards, and much more.
And they even had a pancake breakfast that we missed by one day.

Portal RV Resort is Pet Friendly
For the most part, we won’t stay at an RV Park if it isn’t pet friendly.
Portal is so pet-friendly that it has not one but two dog parks. One on each end.
And they aren’t little. They are big enough for big dogs like Harley and Blaze.
Internet and Cell Service at Portal RV Resort
My Verizon cell on my phone was the best. I couldn’t get the park’s internet to work, so I can’t say much about that.
Verizon cell service had 3 bars and AT&T had 5 bars.
